Many of today's veterans are searching for a place where they belong, and the American Legion is such a place. Here your experiences in service to our country is known, understood, and respected. At our post, you will find compassion and interest in you and your experiences both in the military and outside of it.
This life is a unique one, and it touches each of us in a different way but it always leaves its mark. We come together to relax into the security of knowing that each of us understands that mark.
We turned our experience in serving our country into a passion for serving our community. We hold many event throughout the year, sponsored by any one of the four organizations who call Post 106 their home.
The post gathers together all year for events that raise money for the Wounded Warriors Project, Boys State, Scholarships for local students, St. Baldrick's Foundation, and accepts donations for the Gift Shop for Veterans at the VA hospital, the Holiday party for children, Toys for Tots, and many other organizations that build and care for our community.
